Honey Mustard Vinaigrette

  • This is a great dressing when you are craving something a little sweet and sour. It comes together really easily, but needs to be whisked in a bowl or a measuring cup. The mason jar method doesn’t work with this one because the honey is difficult to incorporate. This is great on a salad of crisp romaine or butter lettuce, with a few carrots and tomatoes mixed in.

Honey Mustard Vinaigrette
yields just over 1/2 cup
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
2 teaspoons honey
dash freshly ground black pepper (I use two grinds of my pepper grinder)

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until combined. Use to dress salad right before serving.
