Oil Free Vinaigrette

Another super easy dressing. It is oil free/fat free, but has a sweetener in it so it is not sugar-free. This is my basic, daily dressing. The recipe makes enough for a few days at a time. Throw everything in a mason jar. It can be mixed and stored in one container. When you are ready to use, just pull it out of the fridge, give it a shake and you are good to go. There is no oil, so it won’t separate.

Oil Free Vinaigrette
makes enough for a few salads
1/2 C vinegar (white wine, red wine or white balsamic vinegar works well here)
1/2 T agave nectar (or white sugar)
1/4 t freshly ground black pepper
1/2 t salt
1/2 t dried italian seasoning (or any combination of dried basil, oregano and marjoram)
1/8 t granulated garlic

Mix every thing well. I like to use the mason jar and shake method, but it could just as easily all be mixed in a measuring cup or bowl. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week. If you substituted fresh herbs, the herbs may turn black in the dressing and I wouldn’t keep it for more than a day or two.
